Job description

The Tech Ops Manager oversees internal IT operations, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Responsibilities include managing IT staff, maintaining systems and networks, providing technical support, driving improvement initiatives, and managing IT projects. The role ensures compliance with security protocols and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align IT services with business goals. 

Job requirements

LMA  

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and hands-on support to ensure the team’s growth and success. 

  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to support the team’s operations and efficiency. 

  • Offer guidance and strategic direction on how to fully leverage Microsoft 365 within the organization to maximize productivity. 

IT Operations and Systems Maintenance 

  • Take a lead role in managing and maintaining the core technologies that support the organization's IT operations. 

  • Oversee and manage Azure Active Directory, ensuring it operates effectively and securely. 

  • Provide technical support to resolve issues for both local and remote users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 

Uptime and Security Commitment Oversight 

  • Ensure that systems and infrastructure are operating at peak performance to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. 

  • Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and policies to protect the organization's systems and data. 

IT Asset Ownership 

  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT asset inventory to ensure accurate tracking and optimal use of resources. 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation 

  • Continuously seek out new technologies and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness in vendor support and overall operations. 

  • Assess current IT processes and infrastructure, recommending and implementing new technologies and automation to drive operational efficiency. 

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills and development of team talent 

  • Automation of manual processes using PowerShell Scripting 

  • Experience on Microsoft stack (Azure, 365, Windows) 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented  

  • Strong customer service skills 

  • Ability to develop and implement process and team direction 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Good problem-solving abilities 

  • Experience with ConnectWise 

Education and Training

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
