Job description

The Project Manager will define project scope and objectives, develop and manage a detailed project schedule, and provide updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about adjustments and progress. You will ensure projects are successfully completed on time and consistent with organizational goals, established processes and the standard terms and conditions of the contract. You will organize and maintain processes, including project scheduling, maintaining project documentation, and report preparation in Excel, CRM (Salesforce), and PowerBI. 

Job requirements

Project Lifecycle Planning 

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from kickoff meetings to after-action reviews, ensuring successful delivery of each phase. 

  • Develop detailed project scopes, objectives, and plans, incorporating stakeholder needs and timelines. 

  • Create comprehensive launch plans and schedules for customer projects, aligning resources and timelines with project goals. 

Stakeholder Communication and Alignment 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication between customers, internal teams, and external vendors. 

  • Align expectations and ensure timely decision-making among stakeholders to keep the project on track. 

  • Manage relationships with clients and partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project. 

Project Execution and Performance Management 

  • Monitor and manage all aspects of project execution, identifying roadblocks and removing them to maintain progress. 

  • Track partner activities, including hours and deliverables, to ensure alignment with project goals. 

  • Measure and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to achieve project objectives. 

Reporting and Documentation 

  • Document and manage project escalations, providing detailed tracking and reporting to internal management. 

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, detailing progress, risks, and key milestones. 

  • Ensure accurate documentation of partner activities, time tracking, and project hours for reconciliation. 

Management of Project Timelines 

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are aligned to project timelines. 

  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, proactively addressing any delays or obstacles. 

  • Lead the Engagement Specialist(s) in managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication. 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of project management experience 

  • 5+ years in client service industry or large organization 

  • Team-first orientation 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight 

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Customer focused with problem solving skills 

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal 

  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study 

  • 5+ years project management administration/coordination (or administrative function) 

  • Project Management certifications 

  • Agile/ITIL certifications 

  • Experience in IT service industry 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft solutions and Salesforce 

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
