Job description

We are looking for a dynamic Desktop Administrator who can jump in with the immediate knowledge to implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot US Cloud’s desktop cloud infrastructure, as well as handle our new hire on-boarding set-ups.

Job requirements

  • Equipment deployment and facilitation of the IT portion of the new hire program.

  • Train users as needed on best ways to utilize Microsoft applications.

  • Provide technical support and manage IT tickets.

  • Maintain a high degree of customer service.

  • Respond to employee requests around US Cloud’s IT infrastructure.

  • Grant and remove access to applications and programs.

  • Implement and troubleshoot Microsoft based operating systems.

  • Present ideas and suggestions to technical and non-technical resources.

  • Work independently with little day to day direction.

  • Stay abreast new technologies.

  • Offer improvements to current processes and build new ones.

  • Organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Front-line resource responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Windows and MacOS operating systems throughout their lifecycle and the desktop cloud infrastructure.

  • Forge strong cross team partnerships to gather hardware and software requirements.

  • Responsible for end-to-end device management to ensure download/installation of updates and facilitate image standardization of users' end point devices.

Qualifications

  • M365/O365 experience including:

    • Licensing

    • User Creation/Management/Deletion

    • Software installation

    • Understanding of M365 roles and permissions

    • Microsoft Entra

    • Intune and Autopilot

    • Office 365 Support

    • Windows/MacOS Support

  • Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise Applications Knowledge

  • Workstation Installation/Deployment/Upgrading/Troubleshooting

  • Remote Desktop Support

  • Printer Support

  • Basic network troubleshooting

  • iPhone/Android Smartphone Support

  • Windows and MacOS Support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Defender experience

  • PowerShell/Microsoft Graph/API experience

  • CrowdStrike experience

  • BeyondTrust experience

  • ConnectWise PSA experience

Education/Training

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in the Technology field

  • 4+ years of experience with desktop administration

  • Microsoft certification preferred
