Job description
The Enterprise Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and F&O Architect will investigate and isolate root causes of issues within D365 to prevent future occurrences for our clients. Combining deep technical knowledge and domain expertise, you will deliver a unique understanding of internal Microsoft resources along with the ability to set expectations aligned with the US Cloud Premier Support engagement team and the needs of our clients. Analyze support issues and provide recommendations based on standard methodologies for customer’s Dynamics CRM/F&O and 365 environments and related applications.
Location: Remote, US
*This position is not eligible to be performed in New York, Colorado, Oregon, or California.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with client collaborators to translate business requirements into cloud solutions and deploy, upgrade, or migrate to the latest Microsoft technologies.
- Review existing architecture and configuration plans to make appropriate recommendations to ensure future supportability.
- Make recommendations on the best course to business scenarios that will reduce the time needed for successful deployments or migrations.
- Direct business users on best practices for CRM/F&O, development, or integration processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical situations and make recommendations and plans for preventing recurrences.
- Collaborate with the TAM to examine ticket trends and identify recurring issues and familiar threads. Analyze issues and engineer changes to prevent and solve current problems proactively.
- Lead reactive troubleshooting or proactive service delivery, such as risk or health assessments.
- Perform technical architecture, design, installation, troubleshooting, and advisory services for clients’ projects.
- Guide clients during system and application upgrades.
- Act as the SME through designing, implementing, and supporting solutions with Dynamics CRM/F&O, 365, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Deliver tailored, technology-specific training in person or virtually to increase the knowledge base and understanding of the client’s internal teams.
- Articulate effectively using both technical and non-technical resources across all levels of an organization.
- Deliver compelling presentations to connect and influence diverse audiences and inspire change and adoption of new technologies.
- Participate in problem analysis and assist in determining strategic software solutions and enhancements to address identified issues.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and application releases.
Job requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM/F&O and 365 solutions.
- 10+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- 10+ years of experience working with Enterprise customers in a consultative capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM entities, workflows, configurations, customization development, integration development, reporting, dashboards, web resources, CRM solution file management, security model, and UI development.
- Experience with Azure logic apps/Azure Power Automate (flow)/Azure Data Factory.
- Data integration using Microsoft technologies including SSIS, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Comfortable delivering presentations to audiences varying in size.
Preferred Certifications/Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and PowerShell/VB Scripting.
- 5+ years of experience in operations consulting and/or service delivery or related preferred.
- Administration of SCCM and Cloud Services Integration.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Course 55078-A: Mobile Device Management
Education:
A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
