Business Development Representative (Hybrid)

We are searching for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to attract prospective clients via intent data, e-mail, LinkedIn, Zoom, and other marketing-supported channels. Using your sales skills, you will engage potential customers and increase B2B sales. This position reports to Marketing but works hand-in-hand with the sales organization. You should be determined, organized, and motivated to achieve monthly sales appointment targets. Top candidates will be very well-spoken with an ability to think and communicate quickly. 


Location: Saint Louis, MO

This will be a hybrid position working remotely and from our HQ in Des Peres, MO.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our Microsoft Support offerings and an ability to field basic questions about the services we offer.
  • Familiarize yourself with our ideal prospect with the ability to segment and refine prospect lists.
  • Identify, contact, vet, and pre-sell potential enterprise IT buyers and book them for follow-up with our Sales Representatives.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the sales process, comprehension of our service and value-adds, and overcome initial objections from prospects. 
  • Convert warm leads and verified contact lists from prospect to appointment.
  • Seek out pain points and apply them to best communicate our solutions.
  • Keep accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Trade Show event attendance and event execution support.

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an appointment setter, sales representative, or similar role.
  • Computer literate: CRM/Salesforce software experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Professional and courteous disposition.
